Erosions??? | Arthritis Information

I have no erosions on my x-rays. Good thing. Just wondering who does and doesn't. When did they show up for you?... Did they show before treatments or sometime after...

Thanks In advance.I may have had RA for a while now. I think I have erosions that are worse than the pain I've been in.  I have had jaw problems since I was 16.  I didn't notice wrist pain until last December.  At that time, x-rays were fine.  Started MTX in March, but it's not working.  So I was being treated but it was not working.  Erosions showed up on the x-ray taken in October.  Not sure if they are from when RA was out of control in December-January (not on Mobic yet) or in between--I guess there's no way to tell.  The erosions in my jaw--no way to know if they were from my first REALLY bad flare in September or if they have been progressing for months or years.

But I think some people with lots of inflammation and pain don't have erosions, you can have RA really bad and not get them, I think.
I "had" erosions in my knee... and had to have that rebuilt..
I think I have something bad going on in my middle finger right hand...I definitely have drift happening (according to PT)  I have lack of ROM in right wrist so bad!! I'm afraid it may never work right....   I am curious next spring when I have my hands x-rayed again... I can SEE changes...most of my finger joints are different.... and my fingernails are now growing weird... anyone have weird fingernails?
Me. Both wrists, right away. within 1 1/2 years of them NOT thinking I had ra. Knuckles on 2nd and 3rd fingers that meet the hands. Both. both feet.  3rd 4th last toes. and where the toes meet the feet. left elbow. no joint left at all. Right one starting. Knees were starting to. Not sure about ankles. they hurt. same with shoulders.severe erosions in both hands and feet, moderate erosion in the hips.  All other joints have either been replaced or fused.  Now of course I have had RA for over 20 years and treatments were different then.I've only had a baseline at onset last year.I'm in the mild/moderate RA catagory, was diagnosed in 2006 with first xray erosion showing up this summer in my left foot.  Not surprised at the location as I've had symptoms in both feet - starting in the left foot - for likely 3 years prior to my dx.  However, no pain at the moment, so when I do have pain I'm assuming it's from inflamation, not from the erosion.
