OT: Remember? | Arthritis Information

Remember some time ago, I was highly upset and crying because my brother talked me into letting someone else run him website for him because he felt that I was not well enough to keep it going like I once had?

Well.... I emailed him this morning.... and told him I would like my webmaster title back and I will find a program that will help make it eaiser on me to update the website and do all that I need to do to keep it up and running and current, even for when I am not doing so well RA wise.

Before I was doing all my brothers website by hand coding. I was making the pages and doing all the HTML and PHP and all that stuff. It requires a lot of memory and energy to do pages and pages of updates and then not to mention scouring the internet for websites of interest.

So... I am going to find a program that will do just about everything I need it to do.

So... on the days that I am bored or cannot find nothing better to do... I will scour the internet for websites of interest for my brothers website.

I might not do most of this until next year, but I plan on being webmaster again.

Well my brother actually calls it "webslave". As he tells me what to do and what to put on the website and I do it LOL!I do remember that! You were very very upset. I'm glad you are feeling up to it again! what kind of website does your brother have?That is funny.

It is a website for school bus drivers. CASTO -- California Association of School Transportation Officials -- They have like 20 chapters state wide. His website is for his chapter. The website is to post up coming events and help trainees pass their exams to become school bus drivers.

My brother informed me a couple of months back that he is 2nd Vice President of his chapter again, and that helps me out GREATLY in obtaining the chapters information and events and all that stuff. As opposed to when it was someone else I had to contact for the information and the person would never remember to send it to me.

So that is anothe reason I have decided to take it over again.

His website is my learning tool. I use his website to help me learn how to run and maintain a website. I do his website for free, which is good for him since it is a non-profit organization and all.
