The swimming has done wonders for my RA. I get the cardiovascular exercise that I need without stressing my joints. Last summer I worked up my routine to a mile a day in an outdoor pool; now that I'm swimming indoors I'm shooting for three to four miles a week. I've noticed all kinds of handicapped and rehabilitating club members "walking" the pool or using "noodles" and kicking in the water. I may limp getting to the pool's edge and I may limp heading to the showers, but when I'm in the water, I'M IN PARADISE..
Sounds good. I wish I could do this, but I have no clue what it would cost or where a pool is. Maybe I am just too lazy to even look? Will my son be able to continue with hockey now that he has jra?
