Brookstones infered arthritis wand?? | Arthritis Information

Has anyone used this thing??  I saw it at the mall yesterday and I was very intrigued. It is a wand with little red lights that don't get hot, I guess they just give off some kind of infered heat? It claims to get deeper into the tissue than normal heating pads.

I am just curious if any of you have used it.

I will see if I can find a link for it.

Ok I found it. It has one good review.

I just saw this ad in the paper today and was wondering about it, too!  Thanks for the link, it does look like a good review. thats an awful lot of money to spend without real information.  For example define temporary...5 minutes or 5 hours.  Minor pain what do they mean by minor.  A heating pad may take longer to work but at .00 vs 0.00 I think I'll stick with the heating padLight therapy is coming on strong.  I have the Dinshal P. Ghadiali light and spectrocrhome color therapy wheels.  It really does feel good.  I cannot remember where, but I recently read an article about American medicine and light, and insurance companies paying for it.

For sick buildings, they are snaking ultra-violet lights through A/C and heating systems and killing mold.
I'd be curious to see if anyone has had good results from infrared treatment.

I had that treatment by a physical therapist once for what was diagnosed as tendonitis and it didn't do anything for me.
it says minor pain..

do we classify our pain as minor?
