A friend recently visited a Buddhist Abbey in Mt. Shasta, CA. Their website is

www.shastaabbey.org If you click on photos you can see a gorgeous photo of Mt. Shasta all white with snow. It is a little oasis in a stressful world, like Bodak's photos.

Thanks for posting this Jan. I use to go camping and spent many a summer on Mt. Shasta in my preRA days. Is indeed a spectacular mountain, and a serene place.

and peaceful, meditative and always makes me feel joyful. Because we spend our winters south of the border I don't get to see the mountain in full snow splendor but do get there each and every summer. LindySimply beautiful!kweenb-
