I am laying here | Arthritis Information

I am laying here all dooped up with ultracets, I took 3 of them, and a robaxin. because my right hip/thigh/knee was really being bothersome, to the point that I was being snappy with son and telling him he was on my last nerve, when actually the pain was on my last nerve.

I just want to go to sleep. I am sooo sleepy.

Anyways... my legs are jerking around again. I still have some pain. and the pain is causing my legs to jerk. Mostly my right leg, but my left leg is doing it as well. It has been doing it since yesterday. It causes me more pain when they jerk.

I do not understand why they are jerking.

You know how your leg jerks when something "tickles" your foot? That is how my legs are doing. Except they do it 2-3 times really fast. It is wierd.

Oh and when I try to stretch out my right leg, it does a different jerking motion. You know like when you stretch, kinda like how a cat does, and it "jerks"? That is how my right leg has been doing for over a week now.

Why does my legs jerk because of the pain? It is bad enough there is pain, but why jerk too?
Joonie, I can't give you the answer to your problem, but I can offer a shoulder.  Would a nice long soak in some soothing salts help? Thanks for the advice, waddie.

I do miss my garden tub. But it was WAY more work and trouble than it was worth.

Hope you are doing well today, waddie. Thanks, Joonie, I am hanging in there and you hang too! Joonie, my legs jerk sometimes. Especially when they are hurting. I wonder if it has something to do with the nerve impulses. Maybe inflammation pressing on a nerve makes it jerk.  I hope your pills kicked in and you were able to sleep some without jerking off.
**OOOPS that last sentence doesn't sound like I met it, u know what I mean, right?**
Joonie - My legs do that too. I take Lyrica and it helps. Have you tried it?I also take Lyrica for the same issue and it helps tremendously. Does walking around make it stop when your legs are at their worst? I have to hobble, but it makes the jerking stop.
I hope you can get some sleep!
DebLook up Restless Leg Syndrome, or it could be BFS. Benign Fasiculation Syndrome. Jerking, twitching, pain etc......no fun
