Hello Everyone,
I'm a newbie here & my name is Leann. I was diagnosed w/ RA 2 years ago on my 31st b-day, what a gift right?? I went to bed one night and woke up the next day to pain & stiffness. It started in my shoulder and just traveled all over my body. About 3-4 weeks later, I had a dx. I was mad for months after that, I thought....Why me?? But..........it has to be someone right??
I have 2 boys and a boyfriend of 10 yrs., and he dosen't have a clue about this disease......he says "Oh I have aches & pains too, just take some medicine" He has no clue what this disease can do or what it feels like. So I don't really talk to him about it. Its a good thing I have parents and sisters who understand.
