Awhile back I posted a thread on Muscle weakness and Fatigue I am now getting pain in my left Temple (actually a little further back ) and my eye feels swollen.  I take MTX and Prednisone 5mg now. ?? Any thoughts. I have a positive RA factor I've heard of Polyrhematica but do not thats it

Hi 65frlane,

Does this pain usually happen after taking your MTX?

When I first started taking MTX I did have some bad headaches around the front and temporal part of my head.  It took about 4 to 6 months for them to lessen and then when I change my MTX time from nighttime to daytime, that seemed to help the most.

Description of Polymyalgia Rheuatica

rheumatica is usually shortened to the more convenient PMR. Simply, PMR is a rheumatic condition with many (poly) painful muscles (myalgia).

There are so many things that can come under RA and Auto Immune diseases...It's almost impossible to understand them all.  I hope these links help you.
