oh, what a date! | Arthritis Information

Ok, I get it now...I am doomed to be single.

I went on a date with a friend of a friend, wrong , wrong, a never do that thing again situation!

He wants a kiss in the parking lot....I said no

He orders me a glass of wine, I drink 2 sips, he says when I buy you a drink you hav eot kiss me......I placed my glass near him.

He said for every drink I owe him a kiss, then a hug, if he buys me food I have to be "cozy" with him in the car.................I looked for the exits an dtold him that was prostitution, he says "prove it". I get my phone out in the event I have to call 911....I ask for the manager in case he becomes violent.

WHen I told him that I am not that fast, he said, sorry you are in Michigan and that is what Michigan women do, I said not this one, I am originally from Indiana and in my community we do not do that. Thennnnnnnnnnnnnnn he leaned over the table and told me I would do it.

I grabbed my coat, thanked him for the drink and asked if I will need assistance to my car because I did not want him to follow me.

THis is the CRAP I have to put up with and this was a man that knew a friend of mine...I guess I am making friends with the wrong people.

All this while I just left the clinic with a sinus infection and bronchitis........I finally got my meds today.

THey will not refer me for the nodules and "shadow" in my chest and breasts. I do not get it...what the heck am I missing? Am I this stupid that I just do not understand why I get no referral and why men are such heathens around here?

What a creep! I don't even know what to say.

There are good men out there, but they seem to be outnumbered by the ones who feel you owe them something because they bought you a crumby drink.

I hope the meds help you feel better real soon!

Feel better soon and keep on top of getting the tests you need. Doesn't sound right that they would not refer you.

I don't understand this not getting a referral. One should be yours for the asking! What did they say they think the nodules are?Eeeeeeeewwwww is right. The Cockroach.

Take your meds; at least you can get to feeling better, than figure a way to get the referral. I can never think straight with a sinus infection.

I also don't get why you are not getting a referral. Can you take those x-rays to another doctor or do you have to have a referral as well?

Jode, that is just crazy on both counts. Sorry you have to deal with this. Maybe you should have coughed on this jerky guy and given him an infection, and ask him if that's "cozy" enough.

Unfortunately I think you're just going to have to persist in both areas...if you want a relationship, don't let this idiot keep you from finding someone better to date. And you obviously need a referral, so can you go somewhere else, or return to that clinic and bug them til they do their jobs?

He picked me up and we headed to a place about 50 miles away for dinner. We get on the highway and were talking, all was going great...and out of the blue, he asks me if I would be interested in having a child for him. ACK!!! I requested he take me home and he did. That was the last arranged date I ever went on. Never ever again is all I have to say and yes I reemed this so called friend out and told her do not bother trying to meddle in my love life again and that this guy should be put in jail!

Well as far as my referral, I guess I will just have to wait till after the first of the year and go to a Dr. that is not affiliated with a clinic and find out what the prob is.

For right now I need to save money for new glasses. It never ends! lol Oh sooo not funny!

My theory is, it cannot be statistically significant nor close to have so many jerks and a**holes in one community!
