Oh boy! I have just got back from the hairdresser and LOVED the massage chair at the hairwash station. Got to play with all the controls and it really made me feel so much better.

Hmmm....Christmas is nearly here, hubster HAS asked what I'd like... so? Worth a try anyways!

Good luck!!

Sounds nice.....and expensive

Lyn,

My brother has one in his Florida condo, My hubby and I went with him and my sister-in-law when they bought it. We had fun. We sat and demonstrated all of the displays, considered all the features , settings, bells and whistles, we did this for hours. He finally purchased one that massages your legs also......heaven..$ 5,000.00 ( this was a few years back)

...............but I broke it one day when I plopped my fat ass, nappy haired self in it.  I really need to lose weight, my arms look like sh*t.  I can't wear anything now that makes me look better and I need to do something new with my hair and make up......something in style.  This place rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How dare you call yourself such names, imposter inflammedonline?

Man... you must really hate yourself. Why not post under your real username? Chicken?

At least Phats does it the right way... with her real username.
We have one of those pads that you can put in a chair or on a couch with heat and massage.  It is body length. It feels good but it's an eyesore to leave out and a pain to take out and put it away on a regular basis do it doesn't get used as much as it should.
Some of those massage chairs at the nail salons beat you up! I've sat in some that made me feel like I was being punched in the back.

edited to describe the pad
wanttobeRAfree2008-11-21 13:06:17My sister bought me one a few Christmas's ago. It was a body one. It worked great and was heated. It quit working after about a year and I'm thinking of asking for another. I loved it! Specially the heatThe chair at the salon had a kinda rolling motion and even the arms and leg rest massaged! I saw a similar one at a furniture store for NZ00. I dont think that is a real high cost but it is a luxury for sure.
