Soo... how are you doing with the winter coming?

Me, I am doing much better than last year around this time! Little aches & pains here and there, but nothing like it use to be.
I haven't had anything flare since mid October, and that's REALLY good for me.  Usually I only go a few weeks between flare ups.  So, why things are going so well I don't know.  But I do know that I like it.Sorry about those knees, Snow.  As far as shoes,  I like either New Balance or Aasics.  Hope you're having a good day too.  :)I'm sick. I hurt.
I am on vicodin every 8 hours and its doing NOTHING I am taking gabbapentin as well and its making me suicidal.
  How's by you?

So far clinical remission is still with me and I'm enjoying every minute of every day.  We're in La Penita, Mexico and the warm (hot and sultry) weather is agreeing with me, even the damaged areas are less painful.

Joonie, I'm so happy to read that you're doing better.  You had us worried for awhile.  I know that life is better for you when you have less pain.

Linda, you're also doiing amazingly well.  Hopefully, you won't flare and can fully enjoy the holidays.  Have you done anything different?...meds, diet, etc.

Snow, sorry to hear about the knees.  That's my problem right now.  My right knee should be replaced but I'm trying to hold off on surgery for a year.  I'm in sandals or golfing shoes all the time and have no idea what a good winter shoe would be.  I'd probably follow the advice of some of the posters.

Kathy, so sorry about the pain.  Is it time for a medication adjustment?  I took Gabapentin but my RD changed me to Lyrica and it was like a miracle drug.  I had some side effects from Gab. but none from Lyrica.

Take care.  Lindy
Joonie-

Glad you are doing better.

I am soso.  I do not like this time of the year but Spring will come. :)
