Just wanted to say good luck and a speedy recover for your procedure you are having done on Wednsday.

Good luck and let us know how you make out!Yes, yes, yes.  Good luck. Thanks guys.  I am hoping all this will be quick and easy.  Ideally, he'll go in, clean the joint out, and then get out.  Hopefully he won't find anything else.  He did say that if the jaw was worse than he thought, we would go in again before the end of the year.  Just can't wait!

Now I am going to curl up and watch House.  It is always nice to see people with much bigger issues than yourself :)
Best wishes Roc and wasn't House excellent tonight! I love that show and he's such an *ss. I wouldn't want him for a dr. LOL Or maybe I would he also cures everyone.
Anyways,, I hope you come through with flying colors.
Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.  I see milkshakes in your near future!!  LindyI hope all goes well, this is something that has been put to me so I would be interested to hear what happens. Thinking of youI'm thinking of you today Rebecca and hoping it all goes well.  Well,  I survived!

I feel pretty good right now.  He told me today would be the best of the next couple of days.  Mainly due to the IV pain meds and then taking others every 4hrs.  Apparently tomorrow and Friday will be the bad ones.  Whoo can't wait!!

I am not quite sure what he did.  He told me right before that he was definitely doing the rt. side and might do the left.  I only talked to the nurse afterwards.  She said that I will get a call on Fri. to check in and then schedule a return appointment.  It feels like he did both sides.  The rt. side is very painful and the left is numb.

I did get a cool shirt:  "I survived Dr. Kevorkian's Anesthesia".  I am totally sporting that to school on Monday.

My friend came by and broght me 4 movies so I am curled up in bed for now.  I had a wonderful can of Slimfast for dinner.  Yumm!!

I'm so glad everything went well.  I'm sorry you will have what sounds like a couple of rough days and one of them being Thanksgiving

Get some rest and enjoy your movies.

That is too funny that he gives out those t-shirts!

Take care,  I hope you have a very speedy recovery and it is easier than expected:)

Pam
Glad it's over and went well. Hope it doesn't hurt too much the next few days. Listen to you- all ready to go back to school Monday- you're a trooper!

Love the T Shirt!
hmmm....today is not going to be a good day. I woke up around 4 feeling like my head was being squeezed on both sides. OUCH. I am running a fever today-which of course was Dr. K's concern. He did tell me yesterday before that if it gets above 101 to call, even if on Thanksgiving. He is the oral surgeon on call @ the nearest hospital. He told me he has never had a Thanksgiving without one and at least with me he would know the problem before hand.

So, took another percocet and I will curl up with Tonka Truck the dog and Ben and Jerry the cats to watch the Macy's parade. Hmmmm, could I have a fever due to the fact I have three little furnaces in bed with me?

Oh, the percocet affects me totally different than the Lortab. I makes me very tired. I remember asking Kevorkian right before I went under to see if I was allowed to get pain meds from him. I have no idea what he said since I then went out. My mom got the prescription filled during the procedure. As soon as I got home I called my pain dr's office and let them know. I hope I don't get in trouble when I see him on the 4th. In my book I did everything right.

OH....Happy Thanksgiving all!!! Eat some for me-all white meat and NO cranberry sauce.I hope all works out great for you!!

quick healing....
I hope you feel better, and I hope this helps!!Hey Becky,

How are you doing?
Well, I somehow missed this whole thread.  Until now.  So let me say...good luck with your procedure, glad it went well, hope you don't feel too bad over the next two days and...is the fever down?

Too funny linncn...

Fever is down but it still feels rotten.  I see the dr. again on Tuesday.  He and I are both thinking that he may have to go in again.  This was a simpler, less invasive procedure.  He said there was a chance it would be enough, but probably not.

Guess I'll just have to wait and see....

Thanks for your concern.  It is just always something.

Always something.......ain't that the truth?  Sorry it went this way Rebecca.Oh, I'm sorry Rebecca!  Good luck and take care.
