Has anybody have the Humira pen injection not inject.

My last injection went as normal, felt the needle, watched for the yellow marker, and nothing.
Waited 20 seconds before releasing the pen from skin to see the liquid dribble out the end.

It didn't happen to me, but I think I read on here about that.  I think someone called manufacturer and they got another one.  I'm not good at the searches here, lol, too blonde, but give it a go.  Good luck

It happened to me with Enbrel. I called their nurse's line and they ended up sending me a replacement pen. Just hold onto the defective one in case they want that back. It's happened to me. Call them and they will send you a replacement for free.

I've also had two with the needles bent. That hurts like hell! My husband does mine and he wants me to start getting the regular ones again. The thing with the pens is that you don't really know there's a problem until it shoots out at you.
YIKES! That stinks- do you have a back up pen?

Lovie- I would be getting some free pens for my troubles if I were you! Did you complain to the company?
It happened to me earlier this year, and Abbott provided me with a box of two pens to replace the one that misfired. They sent the box to my online pharmacy, who then forwarded it on to me.
treefrog0012008-11-26 12:05:02There are really less problems with the prefilled syringes than the pens.  I've never had a problem with the needle or injecting.  If you haven't tried the prefilled syringes you might just give them a try.  LindyAgree with Lindy.  We tried the pens for a bit and switched back to the syringes.  Much easier for us. Hmm, I do not have the pen anymore and I have not complained.
Just thought I'd skip this fortnight.

I might try and ring them and see what comes of it.

Thanks for letting me know that these things can and do happen.
