...he gets up to line up before 8am to buy a Wii Fit.

And we are both night people who usually go to bed around 3am, so that's the middle of the night to us. Now we have Wii Fit---whooohooooo!

Gimmpy, That is Wiidiculous!.....That is wiimarkable......lol

We have a wii also. Let me know how the wii fit does. We took ours to the yacht club last night and bowled the night away to the wii hours....we did get silly making new wii words.

Have fun!
oh that was nice of him! hope you enjoy it!Thanks, inflamed. We are saving it until Christmas but it is tempting to start right away. Why should wii wait to get fit?

I'm just shocked we were able to get one. We did it the same way we got our Wii last year---by going to a place people don't think of to shop for electronics.
We tried to get the kids a wii last year and never could get one. We bought it this year though. I want to get the fit board myself....but will wait until next year to get it since it's actually the kids gift....not mine. lol

Let me know how ya like it. I'm hoping it will make me want to exercise because I hate to now.
I got wii fit last month.  It's alot of fun. My little boy likes it cause the wii music game works with the board. It becomes drums.  What 5yr old doesn't love drums???MY GP suggested Wii for me- hope it's enjoyable - let me know I am very sore today from bowling. I have a mean left curve ball
Now I have a mean left shoulder and swollen hand. But it is goodtimes. You could even say ...it is tireWiing to play to long.

Okay, spill it....where do you buy electronics? I was one of those idiots that paid a ransom for my Wii last year....it was definatwii worth it. But I'd like to save the $$

Oh lovie, you will love it. My kids come over for Wii parties, It's good family fun, a little competative, good exercise, make it a "family" gift and join in right away. It is really easy to use the controls. I am usually video game challenged, but this...ha..I have reached "pro" levelYep, Wii's are different than other video game consoles, because they're really social. You can hang out AND play a game. Even people that don't play video games love the Wii.

Well, we decided since it wasn't really a Christmas present and it's always better to work out now rather than wait to fire it up. It's fun! And I really felt like I worked out. I like how it's your Mii and your friends Mii's are showing up at your step class or egging you on on the "tightrope". It takes into account your fitness level and as you log more minutes (of actual exercise) you get "points" to unlock new activities, and there's a trainer that eggs you on or calls you out if you stop going. Definitely worth getting.

Inflamed, we get our Wii stuff at Toys "r" Us. Because it's more of a toy store like Barbies and Hot Wheels, no one thinks to go there for video games. There was still a lineup this morning when the WiiFits came in, but BF said there were enough WiiFits for all who lined up.

....................i'm so wiitarded and wiifat and wiiugly.............this place rocks!  hey, going skiing, you may have a 1 week reprieve......but ill be back.  hahaha
Getting ready , Hubby is takeing me to buy a Wii Fit, and christmas lights for the trees.
I got rid of them all last year. To many were burning out.

I am Wiieeelly excited!
I took mine to my parents last night.  We did thanksgiving yesterday since I had the jaw stuff on Wed.

It was too funny. There is my 65 yr. old dad getting his rear kicked by my 5yr old in bowling.  Not once, but twice.  I have 4 controllers so we had a really good time.  I watched but still had a blast.  I good family game is Raving Rabbits.  There are quite a few versions.

Santa is bringing Mario Cart with the wheel.  I know Nathan and I will have a blast with that.
I was actually sore today from my Wii Fit yesterday, but that didn't stop me from doing it again. So far my favourite is the skiing balance game-----whoosh! It's actually hard to stop once the workout is over, because it's so fun.

I also really like the yoga because you can see your centre of balance. Now I'm going to have to buy another Wii.  When I can find one that is!
I just watched a video review of WiiFit, if nothing else it does look entertaining.

Man, I am loving Wii Fit! Usually I have to drag myself fighting and screaming to the gym or pool but with Wii Fit I actually can't wait until it's time to "play". Then when it's over I'm bummed and look forward to the next day whenh I can play on the Wii Fit again. I know the love affair won't last forever, but at the cost of 10 yoga classes it was money well spent. I've gotten 7 Wii Years younger and I've only had it for 5 days.Gimpy,

That is great!  How big of an area do you need to work out in?  Would it work in a small bedroom?

I so happy you found something that works for you!!
Pam S, you need an area about the diameter of your fully stretched out body. The Wii Balance board is about 2 feet by 16 inches.I just got back from massage and my "glutes" were totally stiff. My massage therapist says the WiiFit is working!
