Confused Me Please Help | Arthritis Information

So yesterday I talked to my Rhuemy and we are switching to injectable Metho.  I went and picked it up last night and it is only .6ML.  I was on 15mg of the pill variety why so much less of the sub-q method?

I don't want to go backwards!

You'll have to Google this, but I think for the liquid there are 25 mg per ml.  So, I think that's about the same as the pills.

This used to drive me crazy too when I was on methotrexate. I saved the following which you may find useful. It shows how many ml it takes to equate to a dose in mg.

1 ml vial = 25mg of mtx
.7 ml = 17.5 mg of mtx
.6 ml = 15 mg of mtx
.5 ml = 12.5 mg of mtx
.4 ml = 10mg of mtx
.3 ml = 7.5 mg of mtx
I was on 20 mg oral and switched to .8 injectible, so that makes sense.  I always remember that 1 pill is equal to .10mlOOO, you guys are a wealth of knowledge that is why I came here first.  Thanks everyone!  I am now a lot more educated.
