Went to doc today - have a whole new collection of meds - guess I will be posting on other boards

Wishing you all a pain free night and peaceful sleep

Well you can still post on this board if you like. So your bloodwork showed nothing i guess.
How many joints are effected? Forgive me for my curiousity. Also alot of us have fibro on this forum.
wait wait..  what did they say?  did you have tests?

Jisduit: Osteoarthritis sucks, it has caused many joint replacements to be done with in my family. I think my mother and siblings alone have financed some surgeons condo somewhere.

Take care and I hope the new meds give you the much needed relief.

the ra blood test showed nothing - I am very comfortable with the specialist - relieved it isnt RA - supposed to go for hand xrays next week - at leasy he gave me pain meds that will work and meds to help me sleep - he took alot of time with me - see him agin in 4 weeks joints affected = mainly hands - they are in so much pain nd curled up
Have stiffness in ankles and feet - so stifnessness in elbows and knees -

I don't know why you have to switch forums -- those of us with RA or RA like illnesses and osteo know that osteo hurts like all get out, too. I'm not one to ask, but I think you could stay right here!Well at least he is seeing you again in four weeks. Sorry you are hurting so bad. Fibro stinks. So does osteo. thank you Island woman - I take that as an invite to stay and I will -

Bless all of you - Iwill need alot of support and guidence in the months ahead

have to excuse my typing = hands aint working
I don't know- by the sound of the ages of your kids you sound too young for osteo in the hands like that. Also the joints affected are very typically RA. A lot of people test negative for RA. What about your CRP and ESR?
I hope you don't have RA but isn't osteo wear and tear arthritis? Why would you suddenly have wear & tear  in all these places?
RA tests showing nothing can mean that it is not RA, or you could just have sero-negative RA.  Of course, I would rather you just not have RA at all BUT....if you continue to have problems keep the dr. informed.  Either way-stick around.  Pain is pain, and joint are joints.  Whatever the cause, we need support.Did he test anti-ccp?Thanks everyone - I am keeping a "journal" of daily problems.  With  the Davorcet and amien - I slept Thursday night - last night taking the same meds -  was up at 2 in pain - today the pain has lessened - but I an tired as hell.  Going thru some strees too - that doesnt help - maybe thats for another message board - my 23 year old is on herion and I havent heard from him since my moms funeral  = i have a family that I rent my basement to that I have gone to all lengths to help at christmas - dont even ask - why do I even try to help people ?  Yes I know - because in my past some one helped me and as a catholic - it what God would want me to do.

All the stress is not helping with the sleep or the fibro

Please keep me in your prayers
You are in our prayers. Keep that journal. Let us know what the RD says in four weeks.
