Sent my son to the store today. He was in a silly mood today. Said he might be able to pencil me in next Febuary. Then he says don't ever ask me to by eggs again. He said he bought the store brand they were the cheapest. He said the medium eggs were thirty cents cheaper. So the nut says he took one egg out of each carton and compared the size. He said they looked the same. He doesn't see how they could get more egg into the same size shell.

I layed around most of the day. I took my bath and got hit with an awful belly ache. So i layed down with out even combing my wet hair. When i finally did get up to fix it i could not hardly reach to put my ponytail in.
Went for a walk to get some coffee. I was dieing of thirst by the time i made it to the store. So i picked up some juice. My knee was catching all the way to the store. Then my hip decided to lock up. When i made it home I asked my Mom if she could open my coffee for me.
Now my sister and niece are making some cornbread. MMMMMMMMM!!!!
Hi Milly, I am sorry to tell you that I laughed at your store tale, but I have a wacky sense of humour, I hope you don't mind, its just that that sort of thing happens to me all the time and I think how will anyone believe me, or will they get tired of listening to me, and when you read about someone else going thru it you realise you are not mad, seriously though, I was getting like that all the time and I get rapid fatigue so my GP managed to get me a scooter to use and boy what a difference.  On a good day I park it outside the shops and on a bad day if I go out, its great as the little energy I do have can be utilised in a good way, and I scoot around the shops etc.  All the best and I am glad your'e family are taking care of you, hugs Janie. Isn't it strange how the hip always wants to act up in public so walk funny. Or get scared you won't be able to make it back home. Milly, you should know by now you can't send boys (whatever their age) to the store.   Oh, the things DH has brought back from the grocery over the years... my favorite was when one of the boys (a baby at the time) was sick and I sent DH to the store for some pedialyte and infant's tylenol.  He came home with gatorade and a bottle of adult Motrin tablets.Milly, I laughed at the egg story, too, cause I could just picture him standing there comparing eggs!! hehe
Cornbread sounds yummy! I'm glad the fam is taking care of you.

Jas, that story is priceless!
[QUOTE=CO_Mel]Milly, I laughed at the egg story, too, cause I could just picture him standing there comparing eggs!! hehe sounds a typical day in the life of ra when it comes to the part about the hips and knees.  However, sounds like your family loves you and you love them back, and things are going along as a family should.  It is also a good example of living in the moment, recognizing and appreciating the care of a loving family and the things they do to show you they love you like doing the shopping or making one of your favorite snacks, warm cornbread with butter...Mmmm. well, maybe that's one of my favorite snacks.:)
Enjoy!Have you ever tried a gluten free diet? Your tummy ache makes me suspicious you may have gluten intolerance. A lot of people have different degrees of intolerance from not detectable to full blown celiac disease. If you are gluten intolerant, cutting out gluten could possibly really alleviate your RA.

Sounds like a nice family.I don't get tummy aches every day. ENT said I had a terrible sinus infection. The tummy is not to bad today yet. I took a salycalate yesterday for people that are allergic to asprin. I had some extra gas. Then i went to the pharmacy. Holly Crow!! The ENT put me on keflex 500 mg four times a day. I see him in a week if my liver holds up that long. I think my gp usually puts me on two or three times a day. Keflex will def upset my tummy.Glad to hear it.Glad to hear from you MILLY!!! I have been wondering how you been doing.

So glad your family is taking good care of you.
