Blocking pm posters | Arthritis Information

Okay, so I believe in preventative blocking of unwanted pms, and block these blockheads so I don't open up to some ugly comment, and am having trouble.

The newest incarnations of inflamedonlines are using a symbol that the system won't recognize, even if you pick it from the board member list.  Any ideas on how to get around this?

When I couldn't find Jose I was told that if I start typing his name the 'auto lookup' will give me options.

Just don't open anything from any of them........I was suckered by the name, thought it was the real inflamed.  Thanks Pip, that worked after I fiddled with it - and found another new inflammed - six so far.  Multiples - BBS forum hydras - cut one head off, seven more grow.  Like you said in the beginning, the death of a forum or chat room when the multiples or clones start in.  Too bad.

copy and paste.... This worked for me when I was investigating the little poser.

inflamedOnline2008-12-04 22:10:12My, my, my, this place is so sad.Wow :( it truly is sad when a help forum turns into a battle field.

I like the OT threads and I know others don't.  I also like the threads that I can learn things from.  But boy someone on here is just whacked.  Or maybe more than one.  To sit around and make up ID's.  What else do they do with their life.  There is more to life than that.  I sure hope they find it.
Geesh, although I have not been able to keep up with all the mess going on here, I find it to be so very sad that all this has to happen.

THere are other arthritis boards, maybe that is an option.

Well, be careful you get away from the psychos and bullies and don't end up following them around.
My, my, my, this place is so sad.
Just wait till Old Lev gets ahold of you for spamming. You better run. SadWhen I found this site, I was really excited because I was really needing support for the issues I am dealing with regarding my arthritis. I did receive a few positive comments at first so I thought I'd join into some of the discussions. And immediately I felt like I was under attack. And every time I come here, I see the same thing happening over and over again to other people. It's absolutely unreal that this kind of thing is allowed to go on.

I started my own site for anyone who is interested. It is quiet right now because it's only a few weeks old.

If you are looking for a new place, and would like to become involved in a smaller community that will eventually grow, then come check out this site.
