What do ya do when you miss a dear friend and have limited ways to contact them to let them know that you miss them. IT is Christmas time and I just wanted to touch base with them.

write them a letter or christmas cardWe're in Mexico and have iffy email and Skype phone isn't always available but mail is delivered to and from the states in about 10 days.  I've been writing letters and mailing them to the states.  I compose on the computer our travel updates and have been mailing them every week or so.  For some reason I love to get mail, read letters and I'm sure that most people love to get a letter from their family and friends.  Lindy  I like to look at photo albums of my friends/family. Then I call them up and say "hey remember when....." and "I miss you!"Create a "newsletter" format letter - with a bunch of short "articles" about what's been going on in your life.  Kinda like a family newsletter, only you have a subscriber base of 1 in this case. I just wrote a Christmas card to my old friend I miss and added a brief note of what's been up and told her I miss her. Good ideas...not so sure about the newsletter, maybe though that would be a good idea.....If they don't like it I guess they can toss it. It's always nice to get something personal in the mail verses the usual bills!
