More and more medicine | Arthritis Information

Seems like every day they add a new medicine to my list. I freak out everytime. I wonder will my liver except all of this medicine?

When it stinks the most is when you are swelling and have an infection at the same time. Because without the extra pred i am in unbearable pain. Plus you add all of the antibiotics to the list.
Well the allergy pill and the salycalate i can maybe live without for a bit. I have seen many with a list of medicine a mile long. Some on triple therapy plus fibro meds. Seriously i have medicine all over the place.
Is any of it working? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Sorry i am just killing time here. Have  to stay awake to take a pill. That fourth antibiotic doesn't fit into my schedual. I will seriously try to get rid of this sinus problem. I don't have my hopes up to high at this point.
I am hoping that my medicine will start to kick in here soon. If not it will be so sad. Because i can not get this swelling to go away. Well it is a tad worse today.
I have a vivid imagination and i scare the crap out of myself worrying about swelling up like a basketball on every joint. Or taking to much medicine because i trusted the doctor and the pharmacist. Just stupid stuff i torchure myself with. Well no it is real stuff i torchure myself with. RA stinks.
Hmmm I just had a thought. I have an eye doctor, an ears nose and throat doctor, An RD, a gp, an ortho, a foot doctor, a neurologist. No wonder i have so much medicine. I have not seen my internal medicine surgeon lately. I havn't got time for him. Plus he would totally freak out about what all of this medicine is doing to my esophogus and stomache. I am sure i worry enough for the both of us.Milly,

I feel the same.  When I indicate how much money I want my employer to set back in a tax saver benefit plan each year, most of it is for my meds.

I was happy that after my nasal surgery (and probably some of it due to my allergy shots), I've been able to stop Singulair, Allegra, and Nasonex.  That sure helped a lot since my insurance won't even pay for non-sedating antihistamines.
