I finally had an injection in my foot for tendonitis on November 25.  The injection site is still sore and a bit black and blue.  My foot feels better overall.  Is this normal after a couple of weeks?  Your replies would be really appreciated.  I haven't had much experience with injections.

bruises around the foot area can take forever to heal.  first of all you are constantly puttin gpressure on the bruised spot as you walk and secondly blood pools in your feet...you ae fighting gravity.
lay down with some ice on the foot and the foot elevated...do ankle pumps to force circulatoin.  When you walk use an insole or some other sort of padding for the bruised area
Thanks for the reply buckeye.   I was thinking rupture, too much internet probably!
I feel relieved now and will take your good advice.  Thanks again.
