Modafinil / Provigil | Arthritis Information

Has anyone been on the narcolepsy drug Provigil with a biologic??

I have been researching it..and I am going to ask my rheumy on Tuesday. Any side effects? Any info would be helpful

I have taken provigil, with my interferon injections. Provigil was prescribed for my fatigue I had before my MS was controlled.

Provigil, I didn't have to take it daily, unless I needed it.

How is it helpful for RA? My family doc says that even plaquenil is used in MS...very interesting.

how expensive is the provigil? was it covered by insurance? any side effects that bothered you? I have been interested in this, I asked my Rd about it he didn't seem too impressed with it, but he's not suffering like me!!

Insurance covered it. Sorry it has been several years and I do not recall price. But I am sure Gena will give you the low down on the $

I would ask my pharmacist...

they know much more than an RD about meds and interactions..
