20 inches?? Wow!! That's alot of snow in a short time.
We are looking at 6-12 inches tonight and tomorrow.
I love to go walking after a snow storm , it is so quiet and
peaceful.

Where do you guys live to get 20 inches of snow. man i miss those daysOh I don't even want to hear about that much snow... so far we've dodged the moderate snowfalls predicted here, and ended up with a couple inches on a couple different days.  More of a pain in the behind than anything else... makes my 45-minute commute climb to 1.5 hours.  Hopefully we're dodging another bullet tomorrow, as parts of Wisconsin are supposed to get perhaps 10 inches and we're just supposed to get a few down here in Flatland. Wow that's some snow.

We got maybe a quarter of an inch and it's all gone already.  But boy was it cold.  It did warm up into the 40s today and 50s tomorrow.  But then back down cold cold.  I hate the cold.
Good luck!!!!!

holy cats!!

We are just barely out of the snow belt here. Buffalo and the southtowns gets hit pretty good, and even just 25 miles away from here they get clobbered, but we seldom get any more than 4-6  inches.

right now the temp is rising, thank goodness, because my washing machine is frozen yet again
 sheesh

kathy_in_wlsv2008-12-09 10:57:22Michigan, we are in Michigan. IT is all slush now, melted almost as soon as it came down so it seems, a bit of freezing rain today and did not get the big snow storm as predicted...so glad about that.

I am in northwestern wisconsin and we got about 5 inches.  My 4 year old and I just got in from shoveling, my husband has the flu so of course he gets to stay in bed all day.  Anyhow I got my 2 year old to nap and we went out and I used our snowblower for the first time (it isn't new I just never do it) and boy are those things hard on the hands and wrists.  I could barely do it and now I just ache.  But at least we can get out of the driveway!
