Well... I go to the Cardiologist wednsday. I am hoping to finally get some answers this time around. Boy do I need some answers! I even need some new meds, as this regular Coreg is not cutting it.

Last night I was laying in bed watching a movie and I could feel my heart pumping, so I got hubby to check my BP & pulse. My BP was 117/95 and my pulse was 100.

This is just like a repeat of earlier this year. I need this fixed and fast!

Oh and after hubby checked my BP & pulse... my son was in the room and I told hubby my BP was okay, but the pulse was a bit high. And my son looked at me and said "Your doing GREAT, Mom! You'll be dead by next Sunday!"

I do not even know what the heck my son was talking about or even why he said that. But he said it with much excitement.
I still have a fast pulse most of the time and Ive noticed it happens normally when I have eaten fast ( like, all the time 'cos Im always in a rush
Your son has a sense of humour obviously (albeit a wee bit dark with those particular comments!, kinda like his mom?? lolol
You always brighten the boards here Joonie, long may that continue.

ETA: Forgot to say, your diastolic at 95 is considered high but your systolics seem fine.
LyndeeNZ2008-12-10 00:10:18HI Joonie, I had that problem with the rapid pulse, I am already on high blood pressure meds, and when the pulse became very rapid, I could feel heavy palpitations all the time, so my GP added a half 50mg tablet of atenolol daily, it has definately sorted out the pulse probs.  Best of luck, I am so gald you are seeing a specialist if only to put your mind at ease.  Janie.

I do not know.

I just want this fixed.
Ugh, I am sorry about your insurance! Good luck at the appt today...Out of the mouths of babes...

You are too young for all these cardiology problems! Best of luck in getting on the right meds!
Joonie, Any info yet?
