Just Plain Weary !!! | Arthritis Information

My name is Cathy and I was a member a long time ago. now I'm back. I just wanted  to vent a little, yah know? I am 38 years old and I have RA, Degenerative Disc Diease, Osteo Arthritis, and Chronic Miagrianes. I'M 39 ! What really gets me is if I am just plain tired, not ready to go to sleep yah know, but my body is just tired. And people tell me to just lighten up or that it is all in my head. I tell yah I do not wish this on anybody.I had  to go to the Dr. today and they said that I also have Costachondritis. Yea !!

I just wish that more people understood that this does not just affect your joints but your heart and soul as well.

But I know that THIS TOO SHALL PASS.....

So thanks for listening to me rant and rave. I get tired of telling my hubby, it gets old for me and i have to live it I know that it gets to him too.

Hope you feel better. I have often thought that the worst part of this disease is what it does to your heart and soul too. I am sorry, I hope this "passes" for you quickly.

Best Wishes,
Lisa
Welcome Back, Cathy!

I am sorry. I hope today is a little better for you.

I hate it when no one seems to understand. Just makes you want to slap a "Sticker" REALLY HARD on their forehead, that says "leave me alone!" or "This transaction is not worthy of my time! I much rather be sleeping!"
i understand.....

take one minute at a time.

sorry you feel so bad.   sometimes,  tomorrow brings change.    wonderwoman
ha ha i will tell you a funny.
my doctor told me where my leg brace when i need people to notice i am not well.
it works!  w.w.

Hi Cathy,

I read your post and just wanted to sympathise with you and welcome you back to have a vent!

When you are so tired everything seems worse than it usually is.

But, remember osteo is caused by wear and tear, so the only way you could have avoided this one was to sit on your bum and not do anything...lol  & the costachondritis usually gets better with rest around the 3 mth mark, so you will get rid of this one. My daughter has suffered from chronic migraines since the age of 10 and although I am sure you know they can be sparked off by a lot of obscure things, you don't even think about, eg chocolate, oranges, certain nuts etc and as you know you have to increase your water intake lots (to 2litres/day) to flush your system - I know if all else fails its a dark room and bed and wait it out.

Sometimes it feels as if you are waiting to see what else is thrown at you and this in itself can be very wearing.

Keep your chin up, you are right, this too shall pass
Hugs from Oz
From a 3rd Cathy, welcome back... I'm not used to so many Cathy's with a "C", it's usually K's.
Sometimes life throws a little too much at one time and you seem to have gotten your share, so feel free to vent.   Hope better days are ahead.

Cathy
You are welcome to vent anytime you want to. You need to get it out sometimes.

I,too, have OA and know the damage and pain it can cause. Don't you just feel like smacking someone if you hear "it's all in your head" one more time?

My thoughts and prayers are with you,
Hugs, Nini
welcome back Cathy, anyone who told me it was all in my head would get an earful for sure. Probably because I have been feeling so poorly. I like the idea of wearing a leg brace when you feel terrible, I was thinking of going the cane route, lol. I can smack people with it. Just kidding of course.

feel better soon!
Deb
