Hi everyone,

I am 16 years old and was diagnosed when i was 10.
I am taking MTX, Celebrex, and folic acid
i am up to the max. of MTX and it still doesnt help, i have been on injections before, does anyone know what other meds worked well for them, that i could talk to my doc about. no sulfa drugs and no Enbrel
thanks in advance

I have had problems for years and was officially diagnosed around 18 months ago. I had methotrexte prescribed and took this with folic acid for over a year with no improvements. I am no taking sulfasalazine (have been for around 3 months) and am hoping this will begin to help soon.

At almost 28 I now struggle to play football (as I have pain in my feet) and need to find another way to exercise as that was the only thing that really got me moving. Sometimes it feels like there is no way forward but we just need to keep positive, different things will work for different people, we just need to find whats right for us individually.

I know it isn't foot ball but swimming is a great exercise for people with PsA.What about Remicade? It has helped some of us. meme
