so much pain | Arthritis Information

 

well its only 3.50 am here but i am in agony and dont know whats causing it...i can only type with one finger...i made hubby go back to bed as hes exhausted. i cant move my left arm at all, if i do the pain in my elbow shoots to my fingers, into my neck along my collar bone and down my back/ im propped up on the couch with loads of pillows and my arm strapped to my side as its the only thing that stops the pain...i woke up like it an hour ago. the pain is making me feel very nauseas...my temp has dropped to 34c from 36.7 c...hubby wants me to go to ER  but im trying to hold out til daylight..does heat or ice help?

Sorry about the pain. Really i feel for you. I hope you work threw this quickly. If you have an infection waiting till morning is not the thing to do. That is with all you have going on.HI Pin, it sounds like nerve pain, but an infection is possible, make sure you check it out tomorrow, regards Janie.  If it's your RA, then I would suggest your GP will give you an emergency prednisone treatment. I am off to the doctors in an hour, The hospitals ER department was full...My arm is still painful from my shoulder to my elbow( the upper arm muscle hurts badly) and then into my fingers...its like a cold burning pain , strange but its also radiating into my ear, i have taken tramadol but not helped at all.aw pin, so sorry - let us know how it goes at the doctorsHi Pin, how did you get on?  I have said prayers and will continue, love Janie. oh my goodness it sounds horrible!! It could be my RA it could be a trapped nerve...could be a 101 things. Im going to sleep now for a few hours as i got very little last night. I am sorry you are in so much pain.  I would go to ER as well but don't know about waiting till daylight.  Probably the time it will take you to dress it will be daylight.
