Breast Cancer? | Arthritis Information

 

Have any of you gone through Breast Cancer with RA? I have had RA for 8 years and just recently dx'd with Breast Cancer so i'm petrified about everything! Any information/help is appreciated!

I would assume that keeping ALL your docs in the loop about everything will be necessary..

I have had RA for almost 28 yrs.

Was diagnosed with BC  in Sept 2001.

I had 4 chemo treatments over 16 weeks. The steroids with the chemo put my RA into remission for about 6 months.  With the new drugs available now chemo is very doable. Do keep in contact with rheumy thru treatment.

I have had RA for almost 8 years.
I'm on Enbrel, Methotrexate and Voltaren for the RA. I am off those drugs now b/c i'm having surgery and i am HURTING!!!

This stinks!!
