Hi Sno & Happy New Year to all | Arthritis Information

Hey Sno- thanks for thinking about me!
Dental issue #1 is cleared up, no more infection. The throbbing teeth still occur on & off but I continue to use my prescription toothpaste and it seems to be happening less frequently.

The holidays do seem to wear me out these days. Hosted Christmas Eve and even though I had more help then I have ever had by 12/26- I laid in my recliner all day too spent to move and achy too.
Spending New Years Eve and Day quietly- I  declined my MTX for yet another week so I can imbibe a little more safely (kidding myself probably) but it's what I feel like doing to ring in the New Year and oust the old. I am paying for my indulgence with all over aches but.....
I'm making a Prime Rib and for some reason potato pancakes for dinner tomorrow. Also yellow & green beans with carmelized shallots for New Years Day. It will just be the immediate family - not sure why I feel the need to knock myself out! Boss kept me on tenderhooks all yesterday until 5 of 5 when he told me I could have Jan 2 off. I'm sure I'll need it!

How have you been? How were your holidays?

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a happy, healthy , prosperous New Year.

Is anyone doing anything special today or tomorrow?

We are going to celebrate the New Year at our Yacht Club, my son is working nights so he won't be there, but my daughter and her husband and a few of their friends, there will be about 30 or 40 people I expect. I use to have Parties at home...but no way no how..

Glad you infection is gone and your teeth are getting better. I would love to know how you make your potato pancakes. They sound really good. I throwing on the traditional Pork Roast and Kraut for tomorrows eats.

I hope everyone has a safe evening, and a much better Year in 2009.
