Well, of course I have to respond to some of the posts. In some thread Pip stated that "chicken lev" didn't meet her at the airport, as if she sent me the information about her flight and arrival time and how to recognize her and her "toughguy" husband. If she had given me the information I may very well have had a couple of Michigan's finest to meet her and her "toughguy" husband and serve them with some legal papers. As a couple of other members told Pip, it is a felony to make threats of violence over the internet as she did to me. She now likes to say meeting her at a police station trying to minimize the felony her big mouth committed. I also carry a copy of the threats that she made to me with me at all times just in case she and her toughguy confront me as she said they were going to and I will have every legal right to make her "toughguy" husband cry like a little baby, take a picture of him crying and a picture of he and Pip being led away in handcuffs and post the pictures here on this forum for everyone to see.

My rheumy and incompetent GP (there, I said it - she misdiagnosed my baby's vitiligo, refused to run ALL thyroid tests when I was getting sick, refused to send me to an endocrine doc etc.) knew what I 'thought' (infection) was going on and ignored it - even when I brought my 6' 2" hubby to help me manage them. Yes, I was freaked on getting this diagnosis - so, you'd think these idiots would be more helpful and understanding...

DX'ing the disease is a difficult thing at times, gimpy....... I was unDX'd for several years even though I'd had JRA as a child... I was given an NSAID and sent on my way .... until I kept pressuring my GP and then two RD's to dx me... anyone who is sero-neg can have a long term battle for that... and then the resulting deformaties.... like I have.. like several of us have...
I'm sure you'll correct me if I am wrong, but I believe there are more Western induced remissions than any other.......
I think it's pretty mean and vicious to lie with such a comment as you did to Lynn...

Regardless, she's hardly a poster case for how to deal with RA.

If I was inclined I could also dig up a post in which Lynn says she sustained joint damage waiting for the rituxan to work, and yet she spends countless hours disparaging AP, which quite a few people have avoided damage on. At least she's stopped pretending Minocin doesn't work as a DMARD, now she's just insisting that if you don't use it all by itself it doesn't count as one.
I'd say trying to dissuade people from a relatively gentle yet hugely viable therapy and other measures which might help them is a tad more "mean and vicious" than someone pointing out Lynn's methods have worked out less than ideal for her.LOL....you guys want to see a real STALKER?....

A certain poster thought it was okay for them to take my comment and try to slander me as being "pathological" for taking offense for being publicly bitch slapped. Well, fine, she has the right to her opinion too. But I have the right, I thought, to post in this support forum and not be judged about my comments, but stupidly thought this was a democratic forum where people can agree to disagree. But to purposefully hunt someone down two pages and days later and ridicule them publicly is not behavior that I approve of in any situation under any circumstances and frankly, I am surprised at the comments in support of Jasmine's brutal posts about me. It was wrong, no one would allow Jasmine's comments to be said in a public setting, and I am still waiting for a public apology, which I assume will never happen.
This is a forum for support and help. It doesn't help when somebody does what Jasmine did to any poster in here, and look at the fallout of her actions. We are at each other's throats over what? Some of us taking traditional medicine straight from the doctor, some of us taking a different form of medicine, some of us not taking any medicine? Frankly, I think our anger should be focused on the problem - which I don't even think we have a clue what is the problem in here, but I sure know we are angry and frustrated so something isn't right, but it isn't me or Pip or Lynn or Gimpy or Larry or Babs or even Jasmine, I know that much for sure. We wouldn't be in here if we were all the problem, its something bigger than us, and I would venture to guess its mostly fear. We are full of fear because of our common disease and the stories we read and our personal experiences to date and our fear of the coming future of our failing health.
I think its time for this thread to come to an end. I hope everyone in here has a successful day managing their autoimmune disease today, no matter how you decide to treat it.
