Happy New Year!/more RA blues... | Arthritis Information

Hi all!  I hope you had a wonderful holiday and a very happy new year holiday!  I have been away from the boards for awhile.  I do this often when I am not feeling well.

This while on vacation my pressure stayed in the 220s/150s accompanied by severe headaches, even to shower or stand at the bathroom sink was unbearable.  I went to the seattle ER, spinal tap came back fine. creatinine still a little high, blood pressure never really came down only at rest, the moment i move it shoots up again to over 220s systolic. so back here in georgia they will be doing a nother heart cath, the kidney worsened creatine up to 2.7 from l.5 last week.  I will go in for the repeat procedure on tuesday.  i hope goes well this and not a big hematoma like last time.
I jokingly say I am going to seek out a priest and asked to be fully emersed in holy water. only because it just seems like one thing after another for the past year.  I need a break from illlness awhile.
the ra doc wants to add imuran.  he thinks it is ra overlapping with lupus since the kidneys are getting worse.  I agreed to add the imuran but need to still reasearch it a bit more.  he also wants to do another rituxan infusion since the sed rate is over 100. it was too high to measure before. so contemplating that as well. this constant nausea and sinus drainage makes me hesitate because I associated with rituxan. ra doc doesn't seem to think so but it increased right after the last rituxan infusion.
well, hope the new year brings rejuvenated health for all of us.  will try to be in touch more often.
hang in there.  take it easy.
