So... what did ya'll get for Christmas?

I got a new program for my laptop to help me do my card making. I have been wanting it for a while, but could not bring myself to spend on it. Then I found one on eBay for and free shipping. So, my hubby bought it for me for Christmas.

Have not gotten to play around with it much because my fingers were uncooperative, but I am hoping I will get to use it this week some time!

Oh and my in-laws got me a new comfy computer desk chair. My other one only had 1 screw holding the seat to the base and when I would lean to the right it would tip over and I would almost fall out of the chair. I fixed it one time, but the screw came out and then I could not find the screw again to fix it, so I could not sit at my work station to make cards for a while. In-laws also bought hubby a new computer chair. He broke his at the beginning of the year. and had been using a dinning table chair, which he broke, too. It is starting to sound like he is a fat-ass, huh? It is more like he just thinks the chairs are "reclinable" and likes to use them that way.

I told hubby if he breaks his chair this time he better not think about taking mine. He has broke 3 computer chairs in the last 6 years. Yeah!
joonie2009-01-07 10:07:46Hibernation supplies: 2 long flannel nightgowns, 2 long pima cotton knit nightgowns (I wear a flannel gown over a knit gown), a couple pair of knit pajama pants (worn under the two nightgowns), a heated Lands' End blanket, a bunch of books, and an ASTC/clear QAM TV tuner for my computer.  I keep my room about 55F and I tunnel under the blankies every night and hibernate during the winter.  OMG - heaven on earth.

Oh, and a Mini Cooper S, 6 speed manual transmission.  It's used, but it's new to me!  I'm giving my old car to the kid next door. Hahaha... looks good with your sweatpants and bathrobe! Hahaha... i remember the sweatpant only days. I had a whole almost 2 years of where I only wore sweatpants, because that was the only way I could dress myself. Then there were days, I could not even get sweatpants on by myself. Those days sucked!

I just started being able to wear jeans and zip-up pants the end of 2007, after I started on Remicade. It was pretty sweet, being able to wear jeans again. But I still need help with the zipper sometimes, especially when the Remicade is wearing off and my fingers swell.

I once had a very pretty and sparkly lamp that my mommy bought me for christmas one year. But when my daughter was 2 she broke it. I always told my daughter to never touch my lamp. Then one day I went into my room and there it was on the floor shattered. I cried and cried, because I loved that lamp and it was sooo expensive. then on my birthday, my mommy surprised me with another pretty sparkly lamp, which was much more expensive and bigger! I still have it. I keep it out of my sons reach, it is to the way back of my work station. I turn it on everytime I go over there to tinker around with my papers and come up with an idea for a card.
Hibernation supplies LMAO!! TOOO FUNNY!!

Oh that reminds me... I also got an Eeyore long sleeve shirt and pant set.
I got lots of nice things but my favorite gift was my heated throw. Since I am small it is large enough to be a body sized heating pad. I drape it on my chair and sit in it and then recline instead of putting it over myself. I can fold the corners down over my problem shoulders and wrap my sore ankles. It really gets hot! So much better than the heating pad and microbuddies I had all over the place. [QUOTE=wanttobeRAfree] I got lots of nice things but my favorite gift was my heated throw. I should have gotten a pink heated blanket (I think mine is actually called a "throw" too - it's not bed-size) instead of the pale green.  My boys keep trying to steal it.

I wonder why she does not like my bed when the heated mattress pad is on. It does not get hot or anything like that. It just keeps warm and the covers and sheets warm. I hate getting into bed with cold sheets now. LOL!
Maybe that with her furcoat makes her feel too hot.Oh and forgot to mention, that my daughter bought me a throw for christmas. She bought it to replace my soft, warm, ugly green one she stole from me. She told me she got it for me to replace the one she took from me LOL! Now, my son wants the throw daughter bought me! How rude! [QUOTE=joonie]Oh and forgot to mention, that my daughter bought me a throw for christmas. She bought it to replace my soft, warm, ugly green one she stole from me. I recently departed with my Gameboy advance SP. I told hubby to see what he could get for it on eBay so we could buy the kids some Christmas. It paid for most of the clothes we bought daughter for christmas. And daughters glacier blue gameboy advance paid for most of sons christmas. We still have daughters gameboy micro. We kept it to give to son for his b-day this year. He likes video games and it will save us some money!
