So... I visited my mommy on Wednsday. She is doing GREAT! As of a week back she no longer needs the wound-vac. So she is FREE LOL!! She was getting irritated about the wound-vac because she felt tied up from the hose and having to lug it around everywhere she went.

She also drove the car, the first time since her bypass, sometime last week. She was proud of herself. Mom said my sister had a BIG ole smile on her face when she realized our mom was driving and then went into where she worked and told everyone mom drove the car.

Oh and my mom got a new phone#. I do not even know what the new # is. I just started being able to remember her other "new" phone# like last month. And now, I have to learn a new one! UGH!

Glad to hear good news about your mom!

My chitchat is my son left this am to go back to college and I got all weepy. Not sobbing and ridiculous but teary and choked up when I tried to say good bye. Enough to make him uncomfortable- I hate when I do that. All the way to work I was weepy and had a big red nose when I walked in. Luckily I scooted to my office and no one needed to bother me while I put in my eyedrops and let my nose get back to the right color LOL! I don't know why I am so emotional when it comes to my family.  Other then that I'm pretty stoic.

oh and now instead of popping in a dvd to exercise to on my lunch hour I am sitting here reading and psting!LOL! Well... it could be worse... you could be like me... pop in an exercise DVD and just sit there watching it and eating cheetos and thinking "when are they going to get to an exercise I can actually do?"

I really do miss my exercise ball. I use to sit on it and just bounce and try to stay on it GOOD FOR YOUR MOM, JOONIE

and awwww... wantto.....  I would be the same way... He's a good boy.. I hope he feels better about things now...  and you too
Soo... I have a new favorite place I like to eat from.... it is Burger King. This past weekend I talked hubby into eating at BK and he kinda liked it. Hubby does not eat from BK for some strange reason, in his head it is a valid reason, but to me it just does not make much sense to me. Anyways... our local McD's food has been really bad the last 4 months. I normally LOVE McD's, but lately I just feel "sick" just thinking about eating from there. I can eat from other McD's, but the local one... nope! Their food has been very greasy, greasier than normal, and I cannot handle that much greasy foods.

So... now I am craving a triple whooper with cheese, large size coke and fries!

OH and BK has coupons! McD's never has coupons!

Oh and with the coupon we can get son a happy meal for 99 cents! Son never eats a whole happy meal, he just eats the cheese off the burger and the fries. But if you do not get him a burger, he will cry. It is a weird thing to go thru with son LOL!
Triple Whopper! OMG joonie do you know a regular Whopper has over 1000 calories itself? I treat myself to one now and again- I love them! One time I got paid back for my indulgence however because something hard was in the burger and I broke my tooth! Then it needed a root canal! So not only did I eat 1000 calories I did not need I had to spend 00 on one tooth! Plus it was the day before I was going on vacation so I had to go around with a sore mouth til I got back.
It was a very long time before I ate another Whopper but I'm back to eating them because they are soooooo good!

I have never ate a triple whooper, yet. I have only had 1 whooper and the a few Jr. Whoopers. I am just hungry right now... so my eyes are bigger than my stomach LOL!

I use to be able eat 2 big mac, a fish filet sandwhich, a large fry and a large coke in one sitting. Well... I use to be able to. I have kinda shrunk my stomach when I was not eating much for a couple of months.

I am just hungry. It is the end of the week and it is time to go grocery shopping so not much in the house to eat. I can eat cereal, but I cannot lift the full gallon of milk. And my daughter ate my stash of roman noodles last night. I ate some oatmeal, but that was at 8a, and it is almost 3pm now, so... I missed lunch. I am getting hungrier talking about all this food.

I was just laying here thinking I might want to eat from the chinese resturant I use to work at in the next city over. My mommy gave me for Christmas when I went to see her wednsday. So... I can treat myself!

Now I'm hungry too- I'm calling home to see what's for dinner!Yeah for Joonie's mom and for Joonie!  And wannabefree, I do the same with my sons!  Sometimes when I talk to them on the phone and I feel really hurty and bad, I get all choked up.  I hate when I do that but they know I love them and I feel lucky I can tell them how I feel.  It won't be long before he is home again and there is nothing wrong with shedding a few tears because you miss someone. Glad to hear your mom is doing well!

We're getting hammered with snow again here in Chicagoland.  I decided not to play in traffic today - the snow in our driveway came up to the bottom of my car and I didn't feel like getting it stuck.  Our plowguy finally came around 2PM to dig out the driveway so I was able to drive over to school to pick up the kids.  The snow has let up a bit this afternoon but we're supposed to get a few more inches tonight during round 2.  Yikes!
Thanks for commiserating Waddie! It's good to know I'm not alone. JR we are expecting a big snowstorm here tomorrow. I say that's a good reason to stay in PJ's all day! Thanks everyone! I am glad she is doing GOOD! I just wish I felt good all the time so I could go visit her more. I do not like to visit her when I am not doing well, it hurts her feelings. I can see it in her eyes that she just feels bad for me, when I go visit her when I am not doing well.

I hope will be able to visit her a little more now, since I am doing better.
