Need a dr in NC | Arthritis Information
It's been a while since I have visited this forum, I hope you all had a good holiday. I have been going crazy with work and preparing to relocate to another state. Can anyone recommend a good rheumatolologist or neurologist in the Raleigh area? I have RA and vasculitis with neurological damage.

Hey Laker! So it's going to be NC instead of CT?
Hi! It is good to hear from you. I wondered if anyone I knew was still here. Yes we are moving on Feb 2. When I feel upset about leaving I just compare the temperatures for the day: 29 in MI, 60 in NC hmmmm..... that sounds pretty good!! My dr thinks I will feel better in that climate, but I had a nasty flare when I was there last - we'll see.
Laker
Hey, Laker! That's a pretty big move - Mi to NC, WOW!! We have so many members here, I'm sure there's gotta be someone with an RD in Raleigh. I don't know anything about that area, but wanted to wish you the best of luck in your move. Try to keep it as stress-free as possible (near impossible, I know. Haha) I think Lovie lives in NC. Moana does also, but she hasn't been on in a long time. Of course NC is a big state, so I don't know what area they live in.
Good luck to you - I think this could be a great adventure and a wonderful new beginning for you - hopefully a healthier one. And what a great place to live for all the relatives you left behind to come and visit!
Best wishes to you and your husband, Laker!
According to my RD, Duke has a great rheumatology dept. He is trying to convince me to go down there and get some more testing done. But, I don't have any first hand experience.
