My 23 month old daughter was just diagnoised with polyarticular jra . I was wondering if they could start a new forum for parents of children with jra. Thanks Tammijo

Tammijo~I'll try to ask around for you. I have several friends here and on other boards that also have children with JRA. I'll try to see if I can find a forum that would suit that need a little better.

Not that we aren't glad you're here....but another forum might help you more.

I'm sorry to hear about your little girl. My son also has Juvinile Arthritis, he is 12 but has had it for many years.

I think Pam mentioned that the Arthritis Foundation has a board for JRA...you might want to check that our as well if you haven't already.

HI tAMMI MY NAME IS ANGIE AND MY DAUGHTER ABBY 7 HAS HAD POLYARTICULAR JRA SINCE 2005. I CAN NOT EXPLAIN THE BATTLE SHE AND THE WHOLE FAMILY HAS BEEN THROUGH. WE USED TO LOVE FRIDAYS BUT NOW WE HATE THEM.. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE TO GIVE HER THE METRO SHOT.. SHE CRIES AND THROWS UP EVERY FRIDAY SOMETIMES SHE IS SO SICK FOR SEVERAL HOURS..

I REALLY WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SPEAK WITH YOU IT IS SO HARD FIGHTING THIS BATTLE ALONE. I HAVE RESPONSED TO SEVERAL OTHER PEOPLE BUT HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE BACK..
