It is true that doctors prescribe medicines for many illnessess without a single thought being given to the effects of the combinations. My RD prescribed some strong pain meds that reacted badly with a antihistamine I was taking. I had supplied him with a list of my current meds but he did not mention any problems. I have a book given to me by a girlfriend in the medical field that lists most of the problems that could be encountered with mixing meds. We do need to be more informed with what we put into our bodies.Good article, Suzanne.  THanks.
