OK, this is really irritating to watch because of how they break it up to make their point...but they have a point.
And isn't Gupta on the short list for top USA doc? He's not a hard hitter with questions, is he?

I can't see the video but read the statement to another CNN autism piece.
Here's another one - and check this out - she got a lot more than autism.
"I thought it was because she was so sick. I thought certainly she'll start talking again," Theresa recalls. "You think you're dealing with something that's going to come and go, and you're going to get your child back, and you don't." Michelle has since been diagnosed with
autism, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, osteoporosis and epilepsy.

At Michelle Cedillo's hearing last year, Dr. Marcel Kinsbourne, a pediatric neurologist who is a professor at The New School in New York, testified that he thought the measles vaccine was a "substantial factor" in causing the girl's autism. Traces of the measles virus were found in Michelle's gut, leading the Oxford University-trained doctor to conclude the girl's immune system had not rejected the virus. Kinsbourne told the court the measles virus invaded cells in Michelle's brain, resulting in her autism.
While I completely understand the associations that many parents have about vaccines and autism....... I've read and watched Jenny McCarthy alot, thanks for that link, Pip...
Until they test kids before vaccination... (in a controlled study) ... and test them after..... it's really hard to say that this is the cause...
IF the vaccine causes autism in these children...what would the actual disease do? there are alot of things that need to be looked at.....

The DPT vacccination is a "dirty" cell vaccine, as the pertusson portion only has to be cleaned once under FDA rules. In Japan, decades ago, this was outlawed and a second cleaning now has to be performed. Once again, politics wins over health.

I've a brand new grandson who has special needs BEFORE his innoculations... I am a concerned grandparent who has read.. and re-read alot about this.. and I strongly feel the benefits outweigh the risks... at least until they can identify the children at risk prior to the shots.........
there are loads out there who are against Dr.Offit........ a pediatrician/research scientist/vaccine inventor at one of the TOP pediatric hospitals in the USA....... none of them match HIS pedigree......... their words carry less weight.

I thought you might be aware of Dr. Offit's work. I found it pretty impressive.
