Has anyone here tried or on Mobic? My Bextra refill was replaced with Mobic. This worries me as both Bextra and Vioxx were lifesavers for me. I am one that would risk the potential side effects and warnings to keep my pain at the low level that it is at and keep the wonderful quality of life that I have now. But...that isn't a choice anymore. Before Bextra and Vioxx I could hardly move.

Any input on your experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on Mobic (15mg once a day) since they took Vioxx off the market. So far it seems to be working for me. I was told stomach problems could happen with this pill since its not easy on the stomach as Vioxx or Bextra. I've had no adverse side affect although I make sure I always take the pill on a full stomach. Hope this helps.

I was switched to Mobic when Vioxx was taken off of the market. It does help, but not as much as the Vioxx did for me. It can take up to a month to kick in. My dr kept telling me patience. I know that there are alot of people on it who have had wonderful relief from it. I hope that it works wonders for you.

I switched to Bextra after Vioxx, but got sick from that. Have been on MObic since. It works pretty well for me-definitely not as well as Vioxx though:(

Good luck!

I have been on Mobic for a couple of years now and have had no side effects. It definitely helps me. It costs a month, so I tried a cheaper inflammatory and I suffered for 3 months. So, I went back to Mobic, and I'm very happy with it. I have RA and OA.
