Its like all the leftovers were tossed in to a bag and out pops a platypus! one of my dogs favorite toys is a stuffed squeaky platypus. Platypuses and hedgehogs are two of my favorite animals. We had pet hedgehogs for years - they're another evolutionary throwback. I was watching something on tv and they did a top 10 cute animals that could kill you and the platypus was like in the top 5. That little venomous "thumb" they have can be deadly. Monkeys were in there as well as swans. Wow, I just realized I have no life for watching things like that. Of course I watch Human Wrecking Balls too. Those guys are just straight nuts!

The platypus is cute, but have you ever seen a coatimundi? I have a friend that has one as a pet. I have a prairie dog and three dogs myself. Love the prairie dog, she likes to "bark" at you when you clear your throat.
