LOST RELATIVE OT | Arthritis Information

I just find out I might have a step-brother.  It appears my deceased father had a girlfriend he was going to marry and got deployed in the Navy.  When he came back she was gone.  He was crushed.  I know his name and where he lives.

WOULD YOU MAKE CONTACT?
do you know anything else about him?

No, guess I would just ask what his father's name was???

My ex husband was in the same situation a few years back.  He's now very close to his new sister.

I would make contact. You could regret it if you dont and at the end of the day you two are the innocent parties in this situation..you have nothing to lose. I would find out a bit more information first though.Good luckWow, that's a tricky one.  Selfishly I would want to meet the person and I would be open to a relationship, but what if your brother grew up thinking someone else was his father? That kind of news could be devasting to him.  Is there a family member or friend that can give you more information before you proceed?Hillhoney,
he had to know because he has his father's last name, which is very uncommon, like about 50 of us in the good ole USA. my curiousity is growing but still thinking about it.  I figured I could call and the worst that could happen is he hangs up????????
Maybe you could write him a letter and give him your phone number, so he has time to think about it and not be caught off guard.  Then the ball would be in his court.PM me.. My sister and I made contact when we were 50 and 58 ...Hi Kathy,
I broke down and sent him an e-mail.  The ball is in his court.

Now does anyone know how to find a homeless person??? Narrowed down to city.

I have become official missing person dept if the homeless person  is really in a certain city send photos to all missions, soup kitchens and shelters for a start. If the homeless person is kind of a grumpy touchy sort, contact the police in that city ask if the person has been arrested.
Hi Kathy,
The homeless relative, I called the police in that city and talked to the missing person dept.  The officer was kind enough to send an officer to check his last address and if he was there give him my phone number to contact. He no longer lives there. I will try your other suggestions, thanks
