i prefer warm weather but since its changing i just cant stand the cold, it literally hurts my body

I use to love the cold weather and the snow. I still love the snow but as long as I qm inside. The cold makes me hurt too and I have been thinking about an electric blanket or one of those heated mattress pads to keep me toasty. I also like to be out in the sun in the warm months cause it does make me feel good. I wonder if my insurance would pay for a hot tub for me?

BURRRR AND OUCH!

Virginia is a nice temperate state...It snows but not to often and we have winter weather that doesn't make you head for the furnace control panel every 15 minutes....But I still can not stand it when the weather gets colder than 55 degree's.  I don't want to sit by the fireplace I want to sit in it.  When it gets real hot and humid here, I have to stay mostly in the house as I found out the hot weather plays on my joints and makes them swell  more often than in the winter.  Now October is like living in the 3 bears story book land "not to hot, not to clod...just right..." and my body is singing hallelujah.

RA is so contrary...makes your head spin...I am surprised I haven't been labled as a Nut case yet.

Take care everyone.

Down here in South Africa we are having a lovely hot summer day.
Our winters are mild compared to yours and it only snows in the Drakensberg (mountains).
I find the sun a bit of a strain!
Come visit sometime............!

Hi,

My body can always tell when it may snow. My feet were hurting lately for about 3 days and then it snowed and the pain subsided. For the first time this year, my ankle swelled up quite a bit. My pcp said it was not RA related but I don't agree with her. She told me it was the hot weather and to go off salt.

I am usually cold no matter what. I think it's just a female thing, especially if we still have our periods. Bad circulation, etc.

I usually sleep with a sweatshirt, blankets, and socks! Call me crazy...LOL! But it's good and important to keep our bodies and joints warm!I use to be warm all the time. Never got cold. Not until the past couple years. Now I find myself much cooler and not liking cold weather on me. When I get cold I hurt. Hi Cathy

Since everything in your country grows big and sorta fierce looking...how big and fierce are the bugs down there?

I know one thing...some of your ants look to be bigger than my fingernail and ants are the one bug I can not handle.

waddles38691.6078819444I don't have too much trouble with the cold, but I have a lot of trouble with weather changes.  If it's just hot or just cold, no problems, but flip flopping makes things flare!
