Need a Rhuemy in Cincy | Arthritis Information

Hi folks! Been awhile since i've been here. I have Psoriatic Arthritis and i've been taking 20 mg's a week of MTX and a NSAID for about a month or so now. I have decided that that MTX is not the drug for me. I'm a big beer drinker, and i'm just not willing to stop. Sorry, i'm just being honest. I have a cruise planned for the summer, a trip to Vegas, and partial season tickets to the Reds this year! There will be mass beer drinking at all these events! I've stressed this fact to my Rhuemy and she seems to think it's no big deal and refuses to take me off MTX. She says I can drink all I want, and if liver damge occurs it's reversable. I'm just not comfortable w/ this theory. I've always been diligently careful w/ my liver beings i'm a beer drinker. I had regular blood work done, excercise, eat right, and drink plenty of water. I'd assume avoid any goofiness w/ my liver, whether it's reversable or not! Also, I plan to marry in June and we would like to have out 1st child and I know MTX dosn't allow that either! Anyways, sorry to go on, and on. I've decided to change Rhuemys and would like to know if anyone recommends anyone in the Cincinnati/Middletown area. Thanks!Hey Ranger
