I will probably never try this, but thanks for sharing the recipe because I really enjoyed reading it. I also enjoy reading cook books and recipes on the internet. I used to like All Recipes more, because of the rating/review system, but now people make a ton of changes to the recipe and then give it a five star review.

Poached Salmon in Herb sauce:

This was the best poached salmon in herb sauce ever. I just made a few changes. First, I used beef instead of salmon, and I broiled it instead of poaching it. I don't like cream sauces so I substituted a reduced port sauce, and instead of dill and parsley I used garlic and onion. This was so good even my husband who usually doesn't like fish asked for seconds!

But I digress. Gimp, I'm so surprised her husband asked for seconds!

Tink, that sounds wonderful! Do you use sweetened or unsweetened chocolate? I bet my husband would eat the hell out of that treat! Ever tried saltine crackers with peanut better and marshmallows melted on top? Might be right up your alley.

Hey, do not try the recipe I posted, I am ticked, I tried it today and all I got was a pan of burnt crackers and goo that would stick to your teeth probably until the end of time!!!

Also, the choco chips did not melt!. It also made my house smell nauseating!

I copied the recipe word for word, something is not right! I will have to get hold of my friends , friend and check my recipe.

Warning: DO NOT TRY IT YET.......

Chef Tink

okay, something is definitely up with my oven. My lasagna is not cooking , When I made the Carmel GOOOO above it burnt the crackers and now I my lasagna is not cooking!

I am going to have to go to a plan B......any ideas for a plan B ? Hubby will be hungry....

Do you think I could freeze the lasagna for another time?

Minght be able to freeze it for another time. If you can get a hold of an oven themometer place it in your oven and turn the oven on to 350 and check in about 30 minutes If the themometer is way different than what the temp is suppose to be, you may need to have the thermostat replaced. Now your lasagna, wrap up your lasagna real tight and place it in freeze when you do bake it you will need to bake probably for an hour and a half at 350. Hope this helps, meme Thanks meme,
My Dh thinks it's the thermostat also. Don't they make anything that last?
I froze the Lasagna. Then we ordered chinese. I had the sesame chicken and white rice.
I'll have to call someone tomorrow for a repair on my oven. I don't know why but things like this bug me. I had to stop myself from repeatedly checking my oven.
