Well, he's about the same today. I didn't call the doctor, because Mucinex DM (given at 1.5x recommended dosage) has actually kept his cough pretty well subdued. I've also been giving him Percogesic, which is just tylenol plus a mildly sedating antihistamine. This combination has enabled him to maintain a slight buzz all day long, so his attitude is greatly improved. That's it, just keep him drugged and happy. He'll be back to his old self in no time. Not AGAIN! They just might make you a saint! Yea, this year has been a pretty bad one as far as winter colds and illnesses go. Perhaps the whole school should be fumigated - I think they have a secret breeding program for "get-out-of-school" viruses. Unfortunately they bring home the bugs and spread them to their parents!
