Yep - the husband has a real-live case of man-flu (also known as a bit of a cold Great.  I hope he makes a miraculous recovery for your Valentine's day "alone time".  Or should I really just be hoping that he survives?Oh, Nurse Jasmine, better pour yourself a drink!

God bless you, and keep your husband away from mine.

Jas, my only advice is when you pick up the codeine cough syrup, make sure you pick up a case of Sam's - you're going to need it woman.  Lindy

Well, he's about the same today.  I didn't call the doctor, because Mucinex DM (given at 1.5x recommended dosage) has actually kept his cough pretty well subdued.  I've also been giving him Percogesic, which is just tylenol plus a mildly sedating antihistamine.  This combination has enabled him to maintain a slight buzz all day long, so his attitude is greatly improved. That's it, just keep him drugged and happy. He'll be back to his old self in no time.
Not AGAIN! They just might make you a saint! Yea, this year has been a pretty bad one as far as winter colds and illnesses go.  Perhaps the whole school should be fumigated - I think they have a secret breeding program for "get-out-of-school" viruses. Unfortunately they bring home the bugs and spread them to their parents! I forget- did any of you get the flu shot this year?
I forget- did any of you get the flu shot this year?
Yep - we all did.  This is definitely not influenza - but we all know that Man-flu is a far more serious disease which unfortunately still has no vaccine.
ROFL- I forgot- you did mention that! They really must come up with a vaccine!  oh yea, that man-flu is devastating!! My 16 year old son just got over it a few weeks ago and he was pathetic. I agree, as soon as school gets going so do the cooties. Stay away, stay far, far, away!
ROFL- I forgot- you did mention that! I don't think it will ever happen, since the treatment for Man-flu seems to involve massive doses of mind-altering OTC drugs and hours of video-game and ESPN therapy.Don't you know it- the more OTC drugs they can use the better- until they are so whacked out from all their side effects they feel even worse and wonder why.....
