Does anyone get a clear blister or two anytime after remicade and when it pops it stings terribly.  Then they take a while to heal.  I have gotten them on my shoulders and arms.  This last one is on my belly and it is huge.  It popped in the middle of the night and stung!!!  Now i have a huge weird sore in my belly.  I am putting hydrogen proxide and neosporin on it.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I usually get one or two between treatments and they are very random.   WonderwomanWW, I do not take that med, but I want you to becareful of infection. sounds like you are. I would def ask your doc about this. Is it a side effect listed with the Remicade?

 I do not know much about the med, but I am interested about peoples experiances, good and bad.

Hope the blister heals quickly.

Wow, WW, that almost sounds like shingles, except for the come and go part.  I have seen those kind of reactions to poison ivy too.  Like Tink, be careful of infection.  Should you be popping them?  Idk if that is a good idea or not, I never know what to do with blisters.  I would call first thing Monday morning to let the doc know.  My experience with allergic reactions is they can get out of hand fast!  Be careful. Well one of my sister inlaws had MRSA. So we slide on the paranoid side around here.That is sure a nasty possibility Milly.  Yet another reason to see the doc ASAP! I do not feel the blisters until they pop and then they sting and sting and sting.  The one on my tummy looks infected, and last night I got one on my chest.  The one on my stomach is the biggest one I have ever had.  I told the nurse, doctor and remicade nurse about them in the past, they ignored me, saying that it could not be the meds, but I am sure it is.  I never got random blisters before.  My sister gets them with embrel too.  I did not see it listed as a side effect....   But what else could it be?Gosh WW, I do not know what it could be if it is not a allergic reaction. I would call your Rheumy, They will know if they have ever seen anything like the blisters in other patients.
Watch the infection. Things like that can get out of hand.

Try taking a couple of benedryl and see if it helps. I get lots of little blisters on the back of my arms but they don't sting. I am on enbrel and I have to take benedryl for a couple of days or I break out in little blisters and they itch. It was the same way when I took humira, I took benedryl. If they are big.....I would call your dr. Usually allergic reactions have little blisters and itch.
let us know what happens
take care

Perhaps you should go see a dermatologist?  He/she might be able to determine if this is a drug eruption (not uncommon with the biologics) or something unrelated.
