Just for the record, I have 9 AI diseases in my immediate family.........
Edited to add make that 11, I missed two.Lynn492009-02-08 07:49:01wow.. I didn't know endometriosis is autoimmune! We have 9..... I have the majority of them in my family. And one, ITP, has not reoccured Ugh! The list just goes on and on and on for us, huh?
OMG, this is amazing! Let's look for ways to repair the immune system and "ta da" no more diseases.
I was suprised to see CFIDS, then saw your note. I was dx with that after I had mono, struggled for a couple of years. I have wondered if it was RA related. So happy to be through that period of my life.
It's mind boggling to see them all listed like that. I had autoimmune hepatitis a couple of years ago and never knew it existed before that. They had to test me for all the other kinds before deciding. Also have peripheral neuropathy with my RA and I hope not to add to my list.
Thanks for posting it.

Lichen planus :
my DH has suffered for over 15 years with this. It is a awful skin disorder. For the first time in 15 years he does not have one area broke out on his body. He has been clear for at least nine months.I hate to say it, but... no one that I know of in my family has autoimmune diseases, except me. I also have a different dad than all of them as well. So... I get my problems from my dads side. My dad died from cancer in 2005. He was 53.
