Hi guys, I had a nuclear bone scan today, and the girl who does them knows me very well now, (inside and out)  janiefx2009-02-12 20:56:28

Wow Janie, that's bad news, but at least you have some validation for all the suffering you've had.  I am so sorry you are dealing with all this.  Is most of the damage from the RA, the AS, or a combination of the two?  I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and hoping you find some relief.

Big, gentle hugs!

Much hugs to you.
Janie, I am so sorry to hear this.  I swear girl, I do not know how you do it!  You sure have had your share of the Ra misery monster!!!  I am sending you warm, healing wishes for you and Liam.

Take care.
Hi Innerglow, thanks for your thoughts, I am pretty sure the feet are mainly from RA and prednisone damage to the calcium levels, (osteoporosis), whereas the spine and neck is part RA and mostly OA, my doc says the RA has sped up the OA, DDD in the spine for years always meant bad news.  I am feeling a little better painwise, so maybe the Rituxan is kicking in, very fatigued though!  Regards Janie, keep well.   janiefx..."another part for the scrap heap "  LOL At least you still have your sense of humor. Sometimes thats all we have. Hope ya feel betterJanie,
I'm thinking of you and hope there is some good news or treatment when you get your results today. Let us know how it goes.

Janie, I hope they can find something to help ease your pain. It sounds like you have osteoarthritis going on, in addition to the rheumatoid. Of course I'm no doctor, so I may be completely off base. It's good that the tech is a friend, so at least you know something, instead of waiting for a week or two. Our techs here in the US are not supposed to give any results. Sometimes they will, but in my experience, I usually have to wait.

I have both OA and RA, but with mine it seems the OA gives me the most trouble and pain.

Have you had your appt. yet? Please let me know what the doctor says.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, as always.
Hugs, Nini
