Has anyone read this book? What do you think?

Never heard of him - so I checked him out on the web. LOL. Twice convicted for credit card fraud, he served time in federal penetentiary. The guy is an extraordinary infomercial marketer - FTC prosecuted him for making fraudulent claims. Also a multilevel pyramid schemer.

I feel sorry for all the people he has scammed with his "cure all" books. What a loser!

Yes, he's out to make a buck...but I actually enjoyed his book.

My father gave me a copy of this book...but I only read a couple chapters....bored me to tears. I have a hard time making it through books like this.

I'm never gotten into the diet claims. Not saying they don't work; just saying I've never put much faith in that.

I've never gotten into the diet claims either. Seems like a new book comes out and three months later someone's accumulated enough evidence to trash the book. Then the cycle repeats itself, over and over and over......

Give me the tried and true remedies.

lee1234- you really went FBI on the guy didnt you?  good thing you found out the real deal on him. thanks for the heads up

Lisa,

I'll tell you why I went "FBI" over Trudeau.

Two years ago a dear friend of mine became very ill with a very rare disease. Up until that time she was the model of health, ran 5 miles a day, EVERY day, never sick. She also was a huge champion of herbs and all sorts of OTC stuff you buy in a vitamin shop.

Then she was struck down with this rare autoimmune disease [Dermatomyositis, the Anti-Jo-1 type]. She almost died and if it weren't for one phenomenal rheumatologist at the university, she'd probably be dead. Make a long story short, it took almost 2 years to get her back to her old self - or close to it. She asked me to go to her doctor's appointment with her and I did, mainly because I wanted to meet this man who saved my friend. During the appointment he reviewed her drugs and she told him that she started adding a  few herbs to her drug regimen. He hit the ceiling and practically had her running out of the office. His point was that herbs haven't been tested completely, if at all. That is, they could very well undo all the good the Rx drugs did her, for all science knows. Did she want to take a gamble?

Then he went into a litany about all these ridiculous claims for instant cures, etc., etc., and that people, so hungry for relief, would fall prey to the false claims. He followed that with a long lecture on these savvy marketeers that have a knack for getting people to spend their money on snake oil. He was relentless, and I tell you, he sure impressed me! As he put it, "After all I did to get you well, why would you want to risk destroying my efforts?"

So when I hear about things like this, I get concerned that someone will undo all the good that's been done for them.

Sorry for being long-winded.

Lee
