I was diagnosed with RA a few weeks ago, and told I could choose between Methotrexate and Leflunomide. I can not decide. I had almost decided to try Lef., but hated the hair loss, then got on this forum and saw that Meth. could also cause hair loss! I know they both can cause all kinds of other nasty side effects. Hair is a superficial kind of thing, but a year and a half ago I had to undergo brain surgery to remove a huge cyst that had caused me 5 years of severe chronic pain. I didn't have to get my head shaved, but they took a big strip, so every day I was constantly reminded, whether I was feeling better or not. Any way, blah blah, any opinions out there? I'm an at home mom with 3 kiddos, a senior, a freshman and a first grader. I make lampwork beads and jewelry when I'm functional. Thanks
