Hey guys, I am now on Methotrexate and Plaquenil and have gotten the flu or a bug of some kind. Although my husband was over this bug in a couple days, I seem to continue to run fever and feel like crap after five days of it. I also hurt everywhere in my joints..is this normal? I have only been on MX for about 3 months so I don't know about all this. Thanks for your help!Have you continued to take your MTX while ill? MY RD says do not because it can exacerbate things....
My Rd said the same thing. When I got a nasty case of bronchitis I was off for almost a month.
